So I don’t think it’s gonna be a long long time, Till a Touchdown brings me round again to findI’m not the man they think I am Oh no no no I’m a Lockett man……
Tyler Lockett is my pick for under appreciated Wide receiver, and in my opinion Seattles no1 target man.
Lockett has been Russell Wilson’s go to guy for the past two seasons and has finished in the top 15 WRs for 2 seasons running in a team that doesn’t throw the ball often.
Most fantasy players seem to have forgotten him and prefer the new shiny new toy that is DK Metcalf, however when you look at the stats last season Tyler Lockett shines brighter, His connection with Russel Wilson feels very Doug Baldwin esc.
Lockett is one of them wide receivers who has WR1 upside. Off the back of 2018 season and the start of the 2019 season he was the No. 4 ranked wide receiver through nine weeks, before dropping in form and picking up a leg injury.
He finished the year with over 1000 yards, 82 receptions and 8 TDs and topped the league in Redzone targets for his position. This is a big increase in receptions, the most the former Kansas State Wide receiver has had since coming into the league. The previous year in comparison he only caught 57 receptions, just over 900 yards and 10 TDs.
He’s currently ranked as the 16th best Wide receiver off the board based off strength of schedule of the upcoming 2020 season and on average taken around 4th to 6th round in PPR in Dynasty.
I have recently traded Lockett for Terry Mclaurin and I’d do it 1000 times over, I’d take him over Keenan Allen, Stefon Diggs who are closely ranked similar to him in age and Dynasty rankings. Go get more shares and draft the undervalued Tyler Lockett.
