3.07 – Gary Jennings, WR, Seattle Seahawks

With their solitary pick of the draft, Ertz Like A Mofo selected wide receiver Gary Jennings after losing Doug Baldwin to retirement*. The Seattle Seahawks man will more than likely share duties with / be behind Tyler Lockett out of the slot. Despite being their only pick, it is a pick of pretty decent long-term value.

BEST PICK: Gary Jennings

VALUE PICK: Gary Jennings

GRADE: C – Replaced the loss of Doug Baldwin, with a player who could be the next Doug Baldwin.

1.10 – DK Metcalf, WR, Seattle Seahawks

2.02 – Mecole Hardman, WR, Kansas City Chiefs

3.02 – Miles Boykin, WR, Baltimore Ravens

4.02 – Myles Gaskin, RB, Miami Dolphins

Dropping back to 1.10, the Fayetville Dreamers pick up the enigma of the entire rookie class in DK Metcalf. At 2.02 they picked up the receiver who at the time of writing has landed in arguably the best landing spot in Mecole Hardman. Boykin tested in the 99th percentile of RAS scores at the combine and has to be seen as a nice bit of value at 3.02. Gaskin is very intriguing at 4.02, with murmurs coming out of Miami that he will battle Ballage for lead back duties with Kenyon Drake in the ‘James White’ role..

VALUE PICK: Mecole Hardman

GRADE: B+ – would be higher but the Dreamers are left a little light at Running Back.

1.03 – David Montgomery, RB, Chicago Bears

2.03 – Devin Singletary, RB, Buffalo Bills

2.07 – Irv Smith Jr, TE, Minnesota Vikings

3.13 – Hunter Renfrow, WR, Oakland Raiders

4.03 – Qadree Ollison, RB, Atlanta Falcons

Montgomery was a slam dunk at 1.03 with Kyler Murray off the board. Devin Singletary is a top 5 running back talent, and long term wise has landed in a brilliant spot – behind Shady and the G.O.A.T Frank Gore with one of the best o-line units out there. Irv Smith is great value depending on what happens with Kyle Rudolph. Renfrow at 3.13 is pretty intriguing as he is likely to play in the slot for Oakland. Ollison lands will be RB3 for the Falcons, I can think of worse teams to be RB3 on..

BEST PICK: David Montgomery

GRADE: B++ – Where’s the QB love? No Daniel Jones!?

1.04 – N’Keal Harry, WR, New England Patriots

2.04 – Deebo Samuel, WR, San Francisco 49ers

3.04 – Ryquell Armstead, RB, Jacksonville Jaguars

4.04 – Dawson Knox, TE, Buffalo Bills

The Penny Pincher’s have got to feel good about those first two picks. N’Keal Harry at 1.04, thank you very much! Deebo Samuel somehow fell to the second round, love love love that. Armstead is surely in line to pick up some playing time in Jacksonville with the fitness of Fournette always a worry. Dawson Knox was picked up in the 4th round, due to Tyler Kroft’s broken foot, opportunity will surely Knox for the young tight end.

BEST PICK: N’Keal Harry

VALUE PICK: Deebo Samuel

GRADE: B+ – Super strong picks at WR

1.05 – Parris Campbell, WR, Indianapolis Colts

2.05 – JJ Arcega-Whiteside, WR, Philadelphia Eagles

3.05 – Darwin Thompson, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

4.05 – Jarrett Stidham, QB, New England Patriots

Parris Campbell flew off the board at 1.05 immediately after N’Keal Harry, Campbell is Andrew Luck’s new play thing and is genuinely seen as the key to unlocking the next level of the Colts offense, yes please all day long. JJAW is a safe pick, he has the raw talent to make it to the very top, but has a bit of a traffic jam to maneuver through first. Come the end of the season Darwin Thompson could be the best value pick of this entire draft. Picking up Tom Brady’s heir apparent in the 4th round isn’t awful value either.

BEST PICK: Parris Campbell

VALUE PICK: Darwin Thompson

GRADE: B – Give me shares in Campbell all day long, Thompson is a real sleeper.

1.06 – Miles Sanders, RB, Philadelphia Eagles

3.06 – Benny Snell, RB, Pittsburgh Steelers

4.01 – Riley Ridley, WR, Chicago Bears

4.06 – Jordan Scarlett, RB, Carolina Panthers

I probably shouldn’t be the one writing about #Swagholors picks, even more so than my own as I couldn’t love the first three picks any more. Miles Sanders is my favourite running back this year, I love the player and I really like the landing spot, I can see why he dropped to 1.06 in this draft but if I had a top 5 pick I’m not sure I could have resisted. Benny Snell Jr at 3.06 is fan-tast-ic value, he is going to cause James Conner and Jaylen Samuels some real issues in Pittsburgh. I’m a Trubisky fanboy so I want Riley Ridley to do well, I think he is a real sneaky play.

BEST PICK: Miles Sanders

VALUE PICK: Benny Snell Jr

GRADE: A- – I just can’t resist the Sanders/Snell combo of picks!

1.07 – Dwayne Haskins, QB, Washington Redskins

2.06 – Daniel Jones, QB, New York Giants

2.11 – Jace Sternberger, TE, Green Bay Packers

3.01 – Will Grier, QB, Carolina Panthers

Getting Gronky are getting stacked at QB, adding Dwayne Haskins, Daniel Jones and Will Grier to an already busy QB room of Goff, Watson & Manning. Haskins should have immediate value, and if Goff was anywhere but the Rams I’d have Haskins sneaking above Goff in my rankings. Jace Sternberger is the long term tight end for Aaron Rodgers, gotta love that pick.

BEST PICK: Dwayne Haskins

VALUE PICK: Jace Sternberger

GRADE: B – One see’s trades coming from this..

1.01 – Josh Jacobs, RB, Oakland Raiders

1.08 – AJ Brown, WR, Tennessee Titans

2.08 – Hakeem Butler, WR, Arizona Cardinals

3.08 – Bryce Love, RB, Washington Redskins

4.08 – Kahale Warring, TE, Houston Texans

Everyone views the 1.01 differently, in my view I could make a case for any of Jacobs, Murray, Montgomery or Harry going first. In terms of team needs I think Jacobs represents the best pick for Devonta’s Peak – he immediately becomes their RB2 and could be their RB1 come the end of the season. AJ Brown has a strong chance of being the Titans no.1 receiver for the next 5 years. Bryce Love is in a bit of a murky running back situation but has the talent to push AD and Guice for playing time. Hakeem Butler at 2.08 is a really nice pick-up. Warring goes into a crowded TE room but nobody has stood out as the lead tight end so all to play for.

BEST PICK: Josh Jacobs

VALUE PICK: Hakeem Butler

GRADE: A – Running Back need filled, 2 exciting WR’s with big futures, what’s not to like?

1.09 – TJ Hockenson, TE, Detroit Lions

4.09 – Trayveon Williams, RB, Cincinnati Bengals

At 1.09 I actually really like the pick of TJ Hockenson. Kyle Rudolph’s situation at the Vikings couldn’t be any stranger, Hayden Hurst has a murky role at the Ravens and Jesse James is now behind Hockenson in the pecking order in Detroit. Trayveon Williams at 4.09 is a bit of a shot in the dark, he was a lot of people’s main RB rookie sleeper pre-draft but landing in Cincinnati dented that slightly.

BEST PICK: TJ Hockenson

VALUE PICK: TJ Hockenson

GRADE: C – Nice need filled at tight end.

2.09 – Damien Harris, RB, New England Patriots

2.10 – Alexander Mattison, RB, Minnesota Vikings

3.10 – Diontae Johnson, WR, Pittsburgh Steelers

4.07 – Dexter Williams, RB, Green Bay Packers

4.10 – Bruce Anderson, RB, Tampa Bay Buccaneers

It is the year of the backup for Troy Polamalu’s Heirs! They have Sony Michel, and picked up Damian Harris at 2.09, they have Dalvin Cook, and picked up Alexander Mattison with the very next pick. Dionte Johnson fell to them at 3.10 and there was never any doubt he was going to be selected there. Dexter Williams is a sleeper in Green Bay. If Bruce Anderson can make the roster in Tampa Bay, Ronald Jones II and Peyton Barber can’t be too scary to try and surpass.

BEST PICK: Damian Harris

VALUE PICK: Diontae Johnson

GRADE: B – all potential, no immediate impact players.

1.02 – Kyler Murray, QB, Arizona Cardinals

2.13 – Terry McLaurin, WR, Washington Redskins

3.09 – James Williams, RB, Kansas City Chiefs

3.11 – Jalen Hurd, WR, San Francisco 49ers

4.11 – Ryan Finley, QB, Cincinnati Bengals

Kyler Murray is a really nice pickup, the QB room is solid for Philly Special. Big Ben has a few more seasons yet, Jimmy G has the arm and now Kyler Murray brings the legs. McLaurin has great rapport with Haskins so no arguments at 2.13 here. James Williams is on the right offense and is one to watch. Jalen Hurd in my eyes is unbelievable value, the 49ers have a lot of receivers but Hurd is a swiss army knife and can line up anywhere. Finley could be the long term replacement for Andy Dalton, nobody would be surprised to see him get some playing time once the playoffs are out of reach.

BEST PICK: Kyler Murray

VALUE PICK: Jalen Hurd

GRADE: B+ – Some really intriguing picks, with all more than capable of seeing game time from the off.

1.12 – Darrell Henderson, RB, Los Angeles Rams

2.12 – Andy Isabella, WR, Arizona Cardinals

3.12 – Rodney Anderson, RB, Cincinnati Bengals

4.12 – Devine Ozigbo, RB, New Orleans Saints

I don’t love Darrell Henderson at 1.12, but I don’t hate it. With so much secrecy in the air about Todd Gurley’s knee you have to think Darrell Henderson has a role, he is some player, and the Rams have (arguably, cough Pittsburgh) the best O-line – but if Gurley does play at full throttle this could be seen as a bit of a waste of 1.12 as the non-Gurley owner in the league. Andy Isabella is a player I like a lot, for Anderson see Trayveon Williams comments. Ozigbo could eventually carve a role out in New Orleans and I like him a lot as a stash.

BEST PICK: Darrell Henderson..

VALUE PICK: Devine Ozigbo

GRADE: C+ – an if and buts draft that could end up being way better than a C+

1.13 – Drew Lock, QB, Denver Broncos

2.01 – Justice Hill, RB, Baltimore Ravens

3.03 – Josh Oliver, TE, Jacksonville Jaguars

4.13 – Foster Moreau, TE, Oakland Raiders

No arguments here with Drew Lock at 1.13 with Murray and Haskins off the board – Flacco isn’t seeing out the season surely?! Justice Hill at 2.01 could be seen as a slight reach but I really like it and think he mixes it up with Ingram from the start. Nick Foles loves a tight end, thumbs up for the Josh Oliver pick here. The Oakland Raiders like using tight ends, thumbs up for the Foster Moreau pick.

BEST PICK: Justice Hill

VALUE PICK: Josh Oliver & Foster Moreau

GRADE: A – originally B++ but I went upgraded to A, I think come week 8 this will be the best draft in the league.

1.11 – Marquise Brown, WR, Baltimore Ravens

1.14 – Noah Fant, TE, Denver Broncos

2.14 – Kelvin Harmon, WR, Washington Redskins

3.14 – Tony Pollard, RB, Dallas Cowboys

4.14 – Darius Slayton, WR, New York Giants

Hollywood at 1.11, take my money! The Jackson-Brown link up will be feared for years to come. The giant Gronk sized hole was then filled at 1.14 & Fant.. Kelvin Harmon is still being criminally undervalued. Tony Pollard was a little bit of a head scratcher but it can’t all be Zeke again in Dallas can it? CAN IT?! Darius Slayton is a sneaky punt – Daniel Jones will work with Slayton in training and when he takes over there will be an instant connection there.

BEST PICK: Noah Fant

VALUE PICK: Darius Slayton

GRADE: A – Pollard aside, big green tickets all over.
