Devy Rankings

The plan for this season was to accompany the KM Devy podcast with a regular article showing the latest 2021 Devy rankings at each position. Unfortunately, as Mike Tyson said “Everyone has a plan until they get punched in the mouth.” As COVID-19 continues to play havoc with the 2020 College Football season rankings may change more than anyone ever imagined, or they may not change at all. Only time will tell. For now, I’m pushing ahead with the plan. Here then are my current 2021 devy rankings by position: Quarterbacks Trevor Lawrence Clemson QB Lawrence is a superior talent …

My Guys – 2020

I know I’m a lone voice in the wilderness on this, but I really like the NFL pre-season. Yes, the quality of play is largely terrible, and you don’t see much of the star players who will define the subsequent seventeen weeks of the actual season but, for me the drama remains. A flood of football after a long absence is normally welcome in any form but the preseason also contains the annual search for hidden gems that is a key part of the Dynasty season. Tonight, we should have been gearing up for week 2 but instead we must …

Lockett Man

So I don’t think it’s gonna be a long long time, Till a Touchdown brings me round again to findI’m not the man they think I am Oh no no no I’m a Lockett man……  Tyler Lockett is my pick for under appreciated Wide receiver, and in my opinion Seattles no1 target man.  Lockett has been Russell Wilson’s go to guy for the past two seasons and has finished in the top 15 WRs for 2 seasons running in a team that doesn’t throw the ball often.  Most fantasy players seem to have forgotten him and prefer the new shiny new …

The true Cincinnati value!

This next part of the dynasty value series is about the Cincinnati Bengals who got the number one pick in this years draft after finishing with a dismal 2-14 record. They will be starting this year in the AFC North with a brand new quarterback and a hope of having a much improved season despite being in a tough division. Starting in the running back room the Bengals have got one of the most sought after guys in dynasty with Joe Mixon. Mixon is a solid running back one for anyone’s team and given that his ADP is at the …

The true Chicago value!

Next up for our ‘value’ series is the Chicago Bears who will be looking to improve on an average 8-8 season last year. They only managed to make it into 3rd place in the AFC North and will be hoping to move up in the division and make it into the playoffs this year. First up we have got the quarterback room who to be honest is were the biggest problems seem to be for the offence in Chicago. Last years starter was Mitch Trubisky who has not really had much upside in the last couple of years, producing only …

The true Carolina value!

The Carolina Panthers are next up for us to have a look at who is representing the most value for your dynasty team. The Panthers had a really bad season last year finishing bottom of the NFC South with a 5-11 record but they still provided some serious value for fantasy. The Panthers had trouble at quarterback last year as Cam Newton went down injured after only two games and then Kyle Allen took over the job for the rest of the season. With both players now gone and a new coaching staff in place the Panthers opted for Teddy …

The true Buffalo value!

The next team we are looking at today is the Buffalo Bills who had a very good season last year reaching the play-offs for only the second time in 20 years. During the regular season they managed a 10-6 record and this year they will be very hopeful of taking the AFC East title. Leading the line for the Bills is their starting quarterback Josh Allen, who had a great season last year finishing the number six QB. He likes to run the ball as much as he can which is why he managed to finish so high as he …

What The Scott Fish Bowl Means To Me

I started playing fantasy football around 7 years ago now. It all started with 6 friends in my home redraft league, the DILFS league as we like to call it. This slowly moved into dynasty, auction, bestball and devy. I’m now in 45 leagues plus, yes I know I have a problem! I first come across the Scott Fish Bowl in 2018 but I admit I was to scared to sign up. A league full of the fantasy 1.01s, I said to myself you don’t stand a chance, so I missed out. Scott Fish Bowl 8 would eventually be won …

The true Baltimore value!

Hey everyone and welcome to the next in our ‘true value’ series and this time we will be looking at one of the more fancied teams this year, the Baltimore Ravens. The Ravens finished last year with the best record, 14-2, but suffered an early play-off defeat and so will be looking to improve this year. First up we have got their MVP candidate quarterback, Lamar Jackson who passed for only 3,127 yards but managed an incredible 36 touchdowns from it. Along with that he also rushed for 1,206 yards and seven touchdowns. This was the most passing touchdowns in …
